Harar is a historic city located in eastern Ethiopia. It is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, ancient architecture, and vibrant atmosphere. Harar is one of the oldest Islamic cities in Africa and has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2006.

The city is known for its distinctive traditional houses with beautiful facades adorned with intricate wooden carvings and colorful paintwork. The narrow, maze-like streets of the old town, known as Jugol, are lined with bustling markets, mosques, and traditional Harari houses. The city's architecture reflects a unique blend of African, Arab, and Indian influences.
